Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Søren Espersen, Chairman of Foreign Policy Committee of Danish Parliament, in Tehran on Tuesday.
Bilateral relations especially in the area of post-JCPOA economic cooperation, regional issues with focus on crises in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and the ways to spread peace and stability in the region were discussed by Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chairman of Foreign Policy Committee of Danish Parliament, Søren Espersen, who is visiting Tehran on Tuesday.
Heading a parliamentarian delegation, Søren Espersen arrived in Tehran on Sunday upon an invitation by his Iranian counterpart, Alaeddin Boroujerdi.
On Monday, Mr. Espersen met with the Chairman of the Commission of Foreign Policy and National Security of Iran’s Parliament, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, and criticized US for fanning flames of disputes in the Middle East.
Earlier on Tuesday, he also met with Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament and reassured that, ready to cooperate with Iran, the Danish government and parliament supported the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism
